Church and Community Events Ministry

        Mission Statement 

     

 

MISSION :

 

To plan, create, organize, schedule, sponsor, promote and publicize social and other events on behalf of the Church on a regular basis.

 

 

VISION & GOALS

 

This ministry will strive to ensure that such events will:

 

1. 1)provide social gathering opportunities for our church members, regular attendees and the community at large;
2. 2)bring more folks from the community at large to our campus for social gathering/fellowship activities and for worship;
3. 3)add to our church’s profile in the community at large;
4. 4)raise funds to support the church’s ministries in building the body of Christ;
5. 5)assist in the making of more disciples of Christ

 

LEADERSHIP

 

The ministry will have a leader, together with a co-leader, who will be people moved by the Spirit to join in leadership. The leader(s) will schedule and lead periodic ministry meetings and will lead efforts to recruit members to the ministry. The leader(s) will give periodic reports to the Rector and the Vestry. Ministry funding requests will be made to the Vestry by the ministry leadership.

 

 

MEMBERSHIP

 

Membership will be open to all who are worshippers in our parish.
