Yesterday's Sack Lunch/Meal Making food drive was a huge success! Our generous members with the help of Bella Vista Academy students and faculty made a total of 239 Individual meal bags! Thanks to everyone who was able to participate! We are so grateful that we are able to work together each month to help bring food for so many in need!

Get ready our Sack Lunch/Meal Ministry drive is this Tuesday, January 12!!

Our Sack Lunch/Meal Making for the homeless and under-employed is Tuesday, January 12th! To participate please pack your meals in 1 gallon clear baggies and drop them off at Maitland Hall by 3 pm Tuesday. We will then take them to the St Vincent de Paul Becker House Dining Room.

 

Food suggestions can include 2 PB and J sandwiches or 2 tuna/chicken packets (per sack lunch), granola bars, peanuts, trail mix, juice box, small applesauce packet, fruit cups, nutrition bars, etc. Please include a napkin and small plastic fork/and or spoon. You can be creative but be very careful to disinfect your working area and don't pack anything perishable! We would like to be able to deliver at least 100 meals, so if you are able please consider making 4 meals. Thank you in advance!

Our Sack Lunch/Meal Making food drive today was a huge success! We beat all our previous months with a total of 235 Individual meal bags! Thanks to everyone who made it out today and to Don Robbins for transporting it to St Vincent de Paul!

 

Bella Vista Academy students were able to participate again this month in our Sandwich /Meal Making food drive and brought by over 100 meals! Here are some pictures of the students preparing and assembling the meal bags on their campus! So nice to see them working together to help those in need!

Good Afternoon Good Shepherd Family,

 

Thank you to everyone who participated in July's Sandwich/Meal Making drive! Your generosity, along with the Bella Vista Prep's donation of 86 Sandwich/Meal Bags, made it possible for us to surpass last month's total. Our total meals donated for this month was 193! This amount will provide two days worth of meals for the needy at St Vincent de Paul dining room.
