Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is a receptive method of Christian silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.

Our prayer session will consist of an opening reading, 20-minute silent meditation, a spiritual video, and a brief closing discussion. To learn more about Centering Prayer, please visit

If you would like to be included on the Zoom invite please contact the office at

EFM for Adults - Thursdays from 1:30 to 4:30 pm - In Season

EFM (Education for Ministry) is a program of theological education-at-a-distance of the School of Theology of the University of the South.  Students sign up one year at a time for this four year program.  It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy and theology.  Students meet weekly, in seminars under the guidance of trained mentors.  EFM is for the student who wants to dig deeper into the Christian faith.  It trains you to think theologically, expands your faith and your understanding of our Christian heritage, and provides you with confidence to be Christ's minister.
