Welcome to the Good Shepherd of the Hills Website!

We are so happy to have you join us! Due to all the changes going on around us we have been working to make some changes of our own in order to keep us all connected.

We are currently not holding in-person services at our church but you can join us online every Sunday at 9 am via Zoom or Facebook Live. Please view the Join Us Online tab each week to see how we will be streaming and obtain our weekly bulletin. If the Service is being held via Zoom and you are a member of the church, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting information/link on Thursday prior to the Service. The Join Us Online! the page will show the Zoom symbol to remind you to check your email!

In case you missed it!

We began offering Holy Communion beginning this past Sunday! You can stop by Maitland Hall to pick up a consecrated communion (grape juice with host) to follow along with Father John during our Sunday Morning Prayer Service. If you are unable to join us on Sunday Morning via Zoom or Facebook you can also come and pick up the consecrated Eucharist to take with you, along with a prayer card, so that you can receive when you are able.

The consecrated Eucharist can be picked up this week Monday thru Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm in Maitland Hall.

If you need a Gluten-Free version please contact the office so that one can be prepared for you.

Tips to ensure easy opening:
1)      Open Host
The custom-designed prefilled cup has a clear film top that noticeably reveals the host compartment. Lift the film to open and receive your host. (Hint: Bending the tab downward to snap will release the airtight seal on the film and make the edge very easy to find and open.)
2)      Open Juice
Open the cup by peeling back the pre-cut tab on the foil seal to drink the juice.

A Prayer for Connection

Being alone is hard. We were created for community, not confinement.

But we're grateful that no matter how alone we may feel, You never leave or forsake us. And, we're grateful for the technology that helps us stay in touch with each other.

Today, please remind us that this time of social distancing and isolation will not last forever. Give us the strength to endure this difficult season and deepen our connection with You and Your People.

Empower us with an extra dose of Your love, peace, hope, and joy. Amen
